Travel & EventsThe Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and the Coronavirus Shutdown

As would be expected, the Las Vegas-Clark County Libraries are closed in compliance with the shutdown orders from the governor. However, the library directors realizing that many residents use their computers and internet services, decided to not only leave the internet service intact, but to extend it out to the parking lot so that those without internet service at home or with only marginal internet could have a place to check their email and business needs. Social distancing can be maintained by staying in your car or sitting on one of the benches, all of which are more than 12 feet apart. Great idea, Las Vegas Library!
