The vision of Luke Holden, a Maine native and third generation lobsterman, Luke’s Lobster opened its first shack in 2009 in the heart of New York’s East Village, and now has the privilege of serving seafood-loving guests in nine states across the country. From ocean to plate, Luke’s handles every step of the supply chain to ensure that only exceptionally fresh seafood is served in our shacks. Each morning lobstermen haul traps from the open seas, and take their catch straight from the dock to Luke’s seafood company, where the lobsters are perfectly steamed, picked, portioned and packed before getting sent to Luke’s Lobster to get made into your lobster roll! We are proud to be able to trace every pound of seafood we serve back to the harbor where it was sustainably caught and to support fishermen we know and trust.

Luke’s Lobster is a cozy seafood shack committed to simple dishes that highlight superior ingredients, served straight from the source, without the filler. We serve our lobster, crab and shrimp rolls Maine-style – a quarter pound of sustainably-caught seafood served chilled atop a buttered, griddled New England split-top bun with a light swipe of mayo, a dash of lemon butter and a sprinkle of our secret seasoning. Also on the menu is our award-winning clam chowder, lobster bisque, Maine-style sides and craft sodas, plus some new winter menu items such as the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the lobster, crab or shrimp grilled cheese!
